A Copihue quilt with 3 bright colors on a peaceful dark night... take me there.
Quite some time ago I published some Copihue quilt color ideas, and I knew I was going to make one of the 3-color versions. Well here it is!
Here's the digital mockup I used as inspiration:
For the flowers and leaves I used random prints from my stash in 3 color families: yellow, orange, and magenta. The background is Kona Cotton - Nautical.
Solid-color mockups can be translated to prints, just sort your stash light to dark. And adding a solid background brings everything together nicely.
For the back I used Grunge Wide 108-inch in Sky. Such a happy daytime version of the front. These backing packs are so convenient for finishing up a quilt.
This quilt is for me, and I just love it!
