Sea Breeze Quilt: Flannel Neutrals

Sea Breeze Quilt: Flannel Neutrals

A Sea Breeze quilt in a calming palette of super-soft flannels, yes please.

Ever since I published some Sea Breeze Quilt mockups, I was curious to see what this neutral version would look like in real life. It's utterly splendid, I must say.

Here's the digital mockup I used as inspiration:

I used Robert Kaufman Flannel Solids for the entire quilt: Natural for the binding/Fabric A, Undyed Natural and Tan for Fabrics B/C, and Snow for the background.

For the back I improvised with all the leftovers from the front, adding in a few extra fat quarters to make a large enough backing. It was so freeing to do that, and I always like using up remnants.

The quilting design is Modern Curves, a computerized design by Anita Shackelford. Quilted by Laura Pukstas.

This is such a luxurious, soft, and warm quilt, made possible with high-quality and super-soft flannel by Robert Kaufman Fabrics, as well as Quilter's Dream Wool batting. It's such a calming palette that just soothes me.
