Diagonal Seam Tape

Lots of quilt patterns call for you to mark diagonal lines on fabric, which can be so mundane and time-consuming. Eliminate that step entirely with Diagonal Seam Tape™! Allison Harris of Cluck Cluck Sew developed this tape to act as a guide for sewing diagonal seams without marking lines. It saves so much time!

The black lines on each side of the red seam line replicate a perfect 1/4" seam, so getting a perfect 1/4" and lining up fabric is easy. It's fantastic for making half-square triangles, flying geese, and stitch-and-flip piecing.

Diagonal Seam Tape is washi tape, so it's strong, adheres well to every surface, but removes cleanly. It not only looks nice on the machine, but it's also easy to lift and replace if you need access to the bobbin. To prevent residue on your machine, remove and replace tape after each project and don't leave the tape on the machine for long periods of time.
